Decided to spend about an hour at lunch time today washing and waxing the STi! I had thought about claying, jet sealing, and then waxing but that would have taken another hour at least. My arm was already tired just from the bit of detailing I already did. I did a little bit of clay work, but only on the obvious stuck on crap bits. Very happy with the results anyways, nice to have a clean car for a beautiful sunset.

Unfortunately daylight savings is coming up this Sunday so I will no longer get nice sunsets on the way home unless I adjust my work schedule. Hoping the proposition passes during this election so that it never happens again!

Wait, how do people know you have an STI without the comically oversized wing?

I make sure the vape cloud spells STI every time. Haha I'm super glad the previous owner went and did that. I would probably appreciate the park bench if it was still there but this way is way more adult and far less obnoxious. I can just enjoy driving it and fly under the radar a bit easier.

Looks good, people say white it hard to keep clean, not true, it’s pretty easy, it’s the tar spots that add up quickly that is the pain.

It’s easy to keep clean for photos lol. But in general it’s almost always a shade of gray in person , especially at the rear of the car. Very dusty here since it never rains. And when it does rain, the car is impossibly dirty after a short drive. A nice sealant and wax helps at least. My front bumper is pock marked but it just means the car gets driven and is fine to me. Idk how anyone keeps a front bumper pristine without avoiding driving entirely.
